Pepsi, coke, and dr. Pepper/snapple own like 90% of the non alcoholic beverages

Hey, thanks a lot Anthony. I would appreciate that. I wonder how they can give you informal on the job training or how that works...I mean, if you are busy delivering Pepsi bottles and cases, then heck, when does one find time to get the pre-trip inspection down easy?
and the naming of the all different kinds of parts of the truck that one does when they go for their A license + road test. You know, the fun stuff...

If you have your permit the training will be very informsl. You will ride woith som3one for a couple of weeks. Its very difficult. Inhave done it for both pepsi and budweiser. Butbremember you will be driving 40 ft lowboys with autos not much bigger than a pick up. Driving the 53
S is a whole different animal. Mostt OTR companies wont take that training. It will getnyou your class A. I wpuldnt mention wanting to go OTR at the interview -
Ok so I had both interviews..
They asked a lot of customer service questions: explain how you dealt with an unruly customer and how you resolved it, explain how you resolved a conflict... Things like that. They didn't go into the driving part much at all, other than it's automatic with NO A/C..
But yeah, if you have customer service and merchandising experience definitely emphasize that in the interview, they told me the job is 75% merchandising and 25% driving... After that they tell you to check your email after a couple days if you're offered something or not.
Also the interviews are very quick, no more than 15 mins (if that) because they interview a lot of people so make sure to try and stick out! Best of luck to you. -
I work for Pepsico in the NAN division (Quaker, Tropicana, Gatorade). NAN= North American Nutrition.
Been with them in the Gatorade side for 11yrs. Pays REAL good. I make 24.42 per hour.
This is in the manufacturing side in the QC dept. -
Cool Anthony. Lots of information that I can use to come up with answers prepared for the interview in Cranston IF I decide to go. No A/C obviously sucks and frankly I'm still undecided quite honestly. While it appears that I might have an easier path to obtain my Class A and I would save about $5K rather than having to attend Parker's Driving School in Avon, MA the cons would be that if the job didn't break me in two, lol then the commute would, being from the Cape area and having to work 12-16 hours a day
I mean, a man's got ta sleep too!
.
I donno, I may just go and see what they have to say, and just get the experience. We'll see..undecided yet.
