I make good money on about 1000 miles a week on average. Getting paid by the Mile is a scam IMO.

Reserved a Hyundai Elantra, got a $5 upgrade to a Nissan Altima. Sledgehammer motor on that thing, comfy seats. Decent looking, if a little bit bland in silver. Base model with steel wheels and hub caps, still nicely equipped with CVT (that actually works), Bluetooth, reverse camera, and keyless push button start among other things. A little undertired for such a capable powerplant and chassis IMO.
Overall it seems a very capable, if a little bland, alternative to the ubiquitous Camry or Accord if you need a family transportation appliance. Myself, I preferred the Malibu.Bumper Thanks this. -
A buddy's wife has the Altima 3.5 SR V6, that thing is an absolute blast to drive. I think he said 270 HP, the CVT keeps you back in the seat until at least 80mph. Nice little car.

I'll drive about 1200 miles this week. Paycheck will gross around $1500, I can live with that.Dominick253 Thanks this.

Almost done with errands. Truck should be done. Just a couple things left to do. Dispatch is breathing down my neck; he's got a bunch of loads sitting around and no available drivers. Apparently freight is starting to pick up a little. Good to hear.

The 2016 Impala is better than the Malibu I just bought one,2nd Impala I have owned GM finally quit going cheap on the interiors, glad they did a full body redesign

My mother has a 2008 Altima and a friend has a 2014. They're both great cars, but to be honest, I like my moms older Altima better. It still has push button ignition and comfortable seats, but I think the build quality is better. I feel like Nissan half-arsed the 2013 redesign. And my buddy's 2014 has a really annoying exhaust note, which makes it more obvious that you're driving a ho-hum CVT.
I like the new Malibus a lot too, but the Accord is my favorite by far. Love the 2016 refresh. -
New passenger. He's spent his whole life in a shelter because nobody wanted him. He's only a year old. He's been adopted out once but they brought him back.
My heart went out to him because I know how it feels to be an outsider.
He's still settling down, but so far he's a real lover. Doesn't much like other dogs, which I suspect had something to do with his difficulties. Don't know if I can train that out of him from the truck, but he bonded to me and The Hot Chick very quickly.
He was about to be labeled unadoptable, and they had no room. And their funding has been slashed. So you know what was about to happen to him....
I just wish I could have rescued the other one (his brother) with him (but found out he was adopted later that day so happy ending for both of them)
Better pics when I can. He's still settling down.Ooops, Gearjammin' Penguin, Dominick253 and 6 others Thank this. -
What will PHREAD think about the cute new member?
