    Hello drivers,

    Here's my situation:
Me and my father in law are buying a tractor (not new and probably not late model) but something to start working as an owner Op (tired of working company driver scene).

We have been checking some tractors here and there, but have not commited to any yet because we are trying to kind of pick a company to put the investment to work ASAP.

We are trying to make sure we find if not the best, maybe one of the least worse options (companies) to work for.

Probably a NE regional or NE dedicated would be our preferred option, but not afraid of other options if the possibility for equivalent revenue is there.

    So my question is:
What companies out there are there that you guys recommend or names of those that you heard are the least worst??

    Ruthless Thanks this.

Couple options for you in the Ri Ma Ct area depending on what your looking to do? Flat, van, refer, oversized?

I've been driving van since I started. Wouldn't have any issues with reefer, and if I have to be honest, I would ####ing love doing oversized, but have heard they require more experience than I currently posses (started driving Jan. 2015)

Do you know how much experience an oversize hauling experience requires? Also what options you think I have given that I honestly am willing to go with any kind of commodity as long as I can maximize my CDL and earnings as an owner Op?

You'll probably want at least 6 months open deck work before confusing it further with permitted loads.
