Of course that still may not work because tandem are so rusted. In that case here are three more things you can try.First, spray wd40 or silicone on the tandem then try in a few minutes. If still doesn't work back trailer against a curb if still no go then pay the truckstop shop $25.00 to loosen the tandems. Its best to check the tandems if you're picking up from a terminal that way if you're having trouble you can have the shop fix it and hopefully that'll be one less pain you'll have while on the road with that trailer.
What would you include is your ultimate "emergency tool carry kit"?

Hammer the pins in. Spray more dw40. Move around, try not to move tandem on a downhill. Find a curb. Ask a flatbed driver to borrow timber and stick it in front of your tandem.
Ever seen 4x4 hammer into your floor on your trailer? Kept them, put them at an angle in front of your tandem to make it hold. Those guys are usually a one time use thing since they will break easily -

America is extremely corrupt. There's some town on I-20 in either TX,MS,LA that makes so much money confiscating cash from motorists that they built a new police station and bought new police cars. They make it so difficult and expensive for the citizens to get their cash back, that few people ever get their money returned. The politicians brag that by purchasing more police cars and putting them on the interstate they can confiscate even more money.Prof.Gringo and speedyk Thank this. -
An empty spray bottle (a used Windex bottle works fine) can be filled with water to spray tandem rails in a pinch if you don't have WD-40. It can also be filled with soapy water to locate air leaks.

Dont know if been said. Didnt read the whole thing but I cant live without my multiman tool. The one I have is from gerber. I have changed mud flaps, wired trailer lights, cranked broken landing gear with it and broken many seals.
Blackshack46 and Lepton1 Thank this.
