whoop,,,thanks for the reply. I'm going to get a FB for now. If I do buy a SD (again) I'll get one from Matt at Reno's Trailer Sales in Belle Vernon, PA--that man is a true professional in every sense of the word. He (was) going to have a brand new SD trailer delivered to Louisville KY from PA (391 miles) for FREE.
I'm still going to send him a very nice "thank you" in the mail because he deserves it so much.

    I'm no expert but I don't think I've ever seen a W - 900 with a "long metal hood". Special option?

No. They are fiberglass. But fiberglass is freaking heavy when it is molded into the size is a barn door.

    77fib77 and Klleetrucking Thank this.

It's all good. I usually look for freight between 300 lbs to maybe 42K max. I once took a missle box from Nevada to Ohio that weighed maybe 150 pounds, full DOD rate too!!....God I love those loads. I was schooled about Government loads very early on in my Mercer career: go in dead last, you might wind up with scraps, and I did just that...ONE missle box was all that was left. NV to OH. Felt empty.

    nofilter Thanks this.

Four hours ago i had planned on it, but my load to louisville got pushed back a day so i came off it and staying home.

In case it hasn't occurred to anyone, the louisville truck show draws over 70k people not including vendors. Most of them are, surprise, truckers. So how many trucks are gonna be trying to find a load that Monday? I wouldn't be planning on getting a good rate out of there.
