I work for a refrigerated company and I haven't heard anything yet either. They are always on the ball so I think maybe this isn't the whole story. At least I hope so lol

Its gonna be a pain but Its common for food to be loaded into filthy reefer trailers. I'm glad I'm now pulling dry van.

It is common? Not in my experience. Although I have only been pulling reefer for 7 years or so now.

Most places won't even load a reefer with odor, much less being "filthy"... I could see loading produce in a field being ok,but most shippers normally would kick you out of the trailer isn't clean.

It was common for me to pick up a loaded reefer trailer at a shipper or drop yard where the previous driver and the one before him didn't sweep it out and it was filthy.

True, most shippers want the trailer at least swept out but there are some that will load it anyway. Especially if the trailer was dropped at they're facility.
