I'm no doctor or dentist, but infection from teeth and gum issues can affect your overall health, especially your heart and cardiovascular health. I would look for a chain dentist (Castle, Aspen, etc.) in your area and have them perform a few extractions. I had a molar pulled a few years ago, it was like $100.......including the anesthetic and pain pills. They use a menu of prices and you know up front what the cost will be. Trust me don't go over the road training with an infected tooth........you will be tired and stressed enough.

Don't play with that, go to a dentist and get on a payment plan. The Wisdoms are major crap and you don't want to be on the other side of that. You can have them out in a day and so what if you have a bill after? Call a dentist and ask what options are available for somebody in your situation. Seriously don't wait on that. All 4 of mine were attached to my jaw and I waited until I was 25 to have them out, I was told they needed to come out at 18, lets just say you REALLY don't want to wait!

Where do you live? There must a free dental clinic for those in your situation. I would contact place like the Salvation Army, etc. Tooth problems are the worst!!!

    good luck

Yeah a decent dentist office will pull it for less the $50 I would think. My wife worked in a dental office before she had quit working. The question is though will they touch a wisdom tooth.

if the tooth is an upper than you might, and i mean might have a bigger issue. I had to have surgery to have one removed due to the chance of the tooth wreaking havoc on my sinus.

Don't even think of going on the road with a toothache. It's bad enough you'll be training, now add the worst kind of pain to it, and you have a recipe for a very miserable experience. And the last thing you need is to be 1000 miles from home and need a dentist. Been there, done it, it sucks!

A lot of states have next to free health clinics that work on a sliding fee based on your income... So if your not working shouldn't be much money for them to pull it... A tooth infection means that the infection is also in the bloodline of your jaw which could be deadly if left untreated...

Taking a file and playing dentist certainly isn't going to work...
