going to knight transportation orientation

    what should i expect in the road test ? is it just drive around the block and done ? must you do a full pre-trip ? any response would be greatly appreciated TIA.

    Knight Day 1- Paperwork, videos, more paperwork, urine test and hair test.
    Day 2- Capacity test(easy, just makes sure you are in good enough shape to handle freight). More videos, paperwork, setup DD, etc.
    Day 3/4- Depends on how soon they get your test results back. Road test is pretty easy, drive around a bit and back into a couple different spots in the yard. Wait for truck assignment, you'll dispatch towards the house that day to pu your gear.

    One key to road tests and pre trips at any orientation.... Drive like you know they want you to drive not how you normally drive and pre trip like a dot officer was watching you
