The company is pretty much geared for home time every weekend... if you are running OTR and getting paid by the mile, then you can stay out as long as you want - but you might find yourself sitting at truck stops over the weekends, since the planners aren't working on Sundays. Just depends on when the load is picked up / delivered. A lot of shippers / receivers don't work on weekends or Sundays either. Personally, I figured if I was going to sit for 34 hours, I'd rather do it at home than on the road.

Home time is guaranteed on the salary setup. You would get in either on Friday or Saturday.
If you ran mileage setup you could still get in on weekends or during week depends on how you want to run.
So they do have a few options.
Outdoorsman and chrism1367 Thank this. -
Do you ever get home on the regional runs during the week and plus have the weekend off?
-
I've only gone home like 3 times during the week running regional but had to run out of miles to do it but still did it.
But since I'm in nc there not to many options we have to get home during the week, just on the weekends.
I've talked to a few of the Ohio drivers and some of those guys do get home during the week and the weekends.
chrism1367 and Outdoorsman Thank this. -
Thanks appreciate the info

Talked to a jrayl o/o today and he kind of gave a so so review of driving for jrayl, on the company said anyway. Said usually will be running close to 14 hrs a day, 5.5 days a week
-
If he makes 1.10 a mile like the ones I talked to probably has to work 14 hour days to make any money.
-
Sorry misspell, meant he gave a so so review of the company driver side, not o/o side. He said was doing ok, as an owner
skokz Thanks this. -
Do you get paid extra for having endorsements
