Are most Volvos 2012 and up smooth rides?

The flip side of that no resale argument is, you're getting into a 3 year old Volvo for a little over 50K as opposed to paying 100K for one of those other brands. You are 50K ahead of the game right off the bat leaving you smaller payments and more money in your pocket.

 

Not after it starts breaking down on you all the time, then youll be wishing you'd bought another brand.

 

I don't think that Volvo's break down any more or any less than other brands. They all have their problems.

I've driven old Volvo's beaten to crap and 09/11's: they ride very well. Driver comfort and the superior iShift (if you want to go amt) are their biggest selling points.
