My company will reimburse also.
I generally try to avoid it though.
I have only actually paid a handful of times.
Most of the time can plan it good enough where I don't have to. -
If I pay, I tell them to throw in a shower credit or their number if they're cute.
Lepton1 Thanks this. -
I try to avoid it too, but I would rather hedge my bets if it'll be late when I arrive and I will pull into a rest stop/wide shoulder to stop and call ahead or reserve online with my tablet then call the location with an ETA so they can sweep the area of those unpaid before I arrive.

My company reimburses but i hardly ever use it. Would pay for myself if need be. Rather that than stressing myself out....

I've only used paid parking when I was in Connecticut, since the T/A I had to park at was all paid parking anyways. I went ahead and bought a reserve spot, since the "not reserve" spots (that you still had to pay for) were all taken. The price of the reserve spot went towards the $20 parking fee.
-
Here is a tip. Not sure on the others but I know a trick for the reserved spot at the TA's. Just play their game on them
Method 1 My preferred method: I always leave a open spot for a load lock or I can always use another cargo strap. Get it loaded on my com-data card and use that receipt to cover price of parking
Method 2 If you don't really need anything in the store just buy something that covers whatever the price of parking is. Buy it and use show that receipt for you parking fee. Don't open it and keep the receipt. Along your journey on down the road return it to another TA for a full refund. -
The nearest pee lot is in Sturbridge MA. You could have went 20 min north to a mom and pop truck stop. $15 per 24 hr. Showers, good restaurant.
-
15 dollars for a lot vs 15 dollars a guaranteed parking spot? A nice restaurant would have been great though.
Also my reload was west so heading back a long I90 helped me get back to canada for the next day. I will keep that other place in mind if I get a reload north of boston though. -
Ahh. Ya. If you went further west, pride in Chicopee MA off 90/290, whately ma 91 n ex 24. Decent sized lot, with restaurant. Restaurant was ok.
