Stopped earlier today to grab some fuel, guy in the island next to me asked if I go to California often. I said haven't been out there since before Christmas, why? He said that California is going to ban trucks that use DEF at the end of the year, because they are killing all of the trees.
Trucker story?

Don't they have some kind of zero emissions law that was passed in 1991 that is supposed to take place in 2020 or something? Either way it's right around the corner.

I've never been to California, I live on the oh heck we use road salt, I live in the mid-atlantic/east coast part of the country. Sure we could be call mid west, but I'm closer to Mid-Atlantic East Coast then mid west. I don't think I'd ever care to go to California.

I was told if you bring a pre-emissions truck into CA, CARB has a device that will punch a hole in your block to disable it. Sometime they just cut your frame in half and disable it that way!
