Wrll today I was coming around Atlanta on 285 west side going north. Well they had the 2 right lanes being closed.
I'm in the number 2 lane and as the right lane is ending good old Covent bobtail 16144 wedges his way in
He hammered on it to come up my right side. Now I'm only going about 5 mph and blowing the horn
He keeps on coming and forced his way over. If I had not stopped he would of taken out my front end
    Hope you're happy idiot

Well I got ahold of them yesterday afternoon.
I was polite and told the lady what had happened.
She acted like she was taking down my info and would forward this to their Safety dept. She said they might be calling me back Monday or Tuesday...

I have a few comments on this......

First, if this were New York /New Jersey it would happen once every 5 minutes to you. Is it wrong? yes. Is it human nature? Yes.

Second, you stated that if you had not stopped he would have hit you. Then you should have stopped sooner and just let him in. It seems your ego got the better of you and you backed off at the last second.

Going forward just use the smith system and let the jerk in. If there was actually an accident here the cop would tell you the same thing.

How is it human nature? I would never ride up a merge lane and force another driver to move for me. Are people born like an #######?

Sorry, but if there's clear indication (signs) the right lane is closing ahead, and you race up there, passing everyone who's in the correct lane already, in order to shove yourself in line.....well you better hope I'm not the one you think is gonna just let you in. They put signs up telling what lane is closed for a reason..

Nice to see that you took the time to write this "formal" complaint on truckersreport. :)
We all have to vent somehow right?:p

Yep and I filed one with that company as well. I didn't want to get hit by his I gotta go attitude. They were in the wrong rushing up past others sitting in line waiting.. plus the hassles of filing a down time and lost revune claim on his company. Costing me time and money
    Their fault not mine
