Truck Stop 3 Card Monte

Same thing in West Memphis, 1 guy would approach and start to chat, after a minute another would run up and scream about "come see this or that!", accident, fight, whatever. Lead you over to the "game" with some clown trying to stuff money in your hand acting drunk.

About six or so back slapping, grabbing for a hand shake, kind of creepy really, so I just walked.

Wouldn't have thought about it, or the first conversation guy, but seen the same "crew" working the Pilot a couple weeks later.

 

I don't let those scumbags near me. I learned my lesson on that almost 20 years ago in my rookie years, luckily I only lost 20 bucks. Next time I encountered them they got a look at the "frozen brake releasing device" (aka big ###### hammer) and took off.

 

Group was at loves in waddy ky(i64 ex 143) like a month ago

 

One of these days they'll mess with the wrong driver.

 

I always follow them over. And then I say no I don't want to play, pull out my cell, and say but I will call the cops for you. They scatter off the property.

 

Just to let you guys know, this is happening again. They just hit the Sacaton rest area on I10, east of Phoenix last week and got a friend of mine whom was sleeping there in his RV, and They hit the Pilot in Tolleson,Az and assaulted a driver that tried to get his money back. A customer told me this last week. He asked if I go to the pilot down the road and I said no and he related the story. The same situation as what happened to buddy, minus the butt kicking.Here a vid of some guys doing it in Georgia in 2016. My friend swears that its the same guys and the same van, and he recognized the guy who walks around roping people in to the game.

The vehicle in question may be this one a dark blue or dark grey 2007 Honda Odyssey ohio plate # GTW 1060

If you see these guys just call the cops. There is several of them in on it and they won't hesitate to hurt you.

 

Whenever I see a group of people in a truck stop and they come at me with “hey driver come check this out!!” I promptly tell them to #### off and keep going to my truck or into the building.
