If I had to go OTR company driver again I'd go with Crete, they pay better than the rest

Any difference in frequency of drop and hook freight?
    Schneider offered a base salary,on a dedicated route,with $100,$150,$200 bonus,for staying out extra weeks.
    Im still leaning toward crete.
    Schneider physical requirements?

I'm with Schneider but on choice, there is a lot of drop and hook freight here. Company trucks are bare bones.
Crete's trucks are slighty better. Pay is .45 a mile.
I worked at Crete but as a Reefer driver there, pulled Vans sometimes. They have a lot of drop and hook freight also.

Schenider has a lot more drop lots and Operating centers though.

If they offered you a good dedicated run it might be worth it.
OTR though I'd go with Crete

The crete stress test has me worried,30 year smoker, not fun to try to do lots of running or stair clumbing,at my age...50
Do I pay my own way home if I flunk the physical?
    Thanks.

I did it, it was easy.
    No running...
More so like holding a 10 pound weight for a few seconds lol
Lots of fat guys passed that test, i wouldn't be worried.

I made $1150-$1300 a week OTR with less than a year experience when i was with them. No problem getting miles.

Never did OTR with Crete or The Pumpkin. JBH treated me well though. 11 state western regional, was fun too, LOTS of mountains. Good perks. Cars you can take for errands at the terminals, bar-b-q's, very clean terminals, showers.
I just started with The Pumpkin doing a local cause I have to be home. $1K / week, 5 days, 11 hours, no touch / day cab / delivering broccoli throughout town. Drive 4 miles each way to get to work.
LB called with a local gig right when my Dad got sick, and just sold my truck, but he needed 24/7 care, or I'd gone with them.
The Pumpkin has be good so far.

I cannot cast a vote however since I have no knowledge of OTR of 2 out of 3 companies.
