As owner operators, have any of you used factoring before? If so, how was your experience?

    Thanks!

If you need to use factoring you need to change the way you operate.

Question thus answered in full, with loads of sarcasm, wit, and general humor.

    Proceed as routed.

It's best if you don't, because it's just free money to someone else at your expense. I'm sure you realize that already. Though some don't seem to want to cope with the reality of it all, at times O/Os get in a cash crunch and it's either factor or bankrupt, if you don't have other resources. Like a credit card you can pay off quickly. Or an alternate line of credit. If you really need to do it, do it. But just try not to get in the habit. I never have, but I did research just in case. I would probably go with Love's and it seems pretty straight forward. I'm probably no help, but that's all I've got. Best of luck!

I've never factored, always do business with brokers that have great credit and reasonable days to pay (30) at the most for me. If I ever get strapped for cash and need money sooner, I would rather do quick pay from a broker than factor.
