Hey, everybody! Just interested in hearing about your favorite, small owner/op fleets. We all hear about mega-lease fleets quite a bit, like Mercer, Landstar, etc. Is anyone leased on to a smaller company that they really enjoy running for? Thanks again.

As other's have noted, I do love the company I'm leased on to, Kiswani out of South Holland, IL. About 60 company trucks and the same number of O/O. They're not perfect (not one is) but, their honest, they have a growing customer base and they keep their word. Currently running Intermodal 350 mile radius around Chicago....They also have reefers, step decks, flats, and just purchased two goose neck RGN's...but all the trailers are parked until rates improve.Last edited: Apr 30, 2016

Absolutely love Farm2Fleet. All O/O and about 75 trucks. Self dispatch. You pick your loads and run your own business. Lots of support and they have a lot of contacts to help you find freight. This is not for everyone, there is more work in finding your own loads but you only go where you want and you decide when you go home. Been with them for three years now.

I drive for a small company out of Tamaqua PA they are Eagle Transport.. think we only got like 12 drivers.. they are like family, and honestly they take great care about their drivers.. their company trucks might be old and worn-out but they get .55 loaded miles and .35 deadhead miles.. O/O get 78% of the load payout. I started there October of 2015 and have nothing but great things to say about them especially my boss/owner and my dispatcher together its a team/family that work hard to make the income...
