You stole my thunder with this one.

I can personally attest to this being the case.

Agreed, but in fairness, it's not always possible to do the courteous thing thanks be to the wonders of truck modernization.

Unfortunately this profession has been dumbed down considerably, some of which is not necessarily the fault of drivers.

    But, but....

He's loaded all the way to the door.

Once upon a time on a dark two lane highway late at night/early morning, some driver came up behind me... Following close, started flashing his high beams a few times. I pick up the mic and ask "what are you flashing your lights for driver?" No response... Finally after some weaving back there he finally goes for a pass. Pass complete. Ok.. Whatever...

It's all right to pull your curtains closed when in the sleeper unless your afraid of the dark. Got to have them open? Then live with the lights. It the ashats that leave them on after they park blinding those that want to back in near them that are the inconsiderate.

There's a difference between being parked with your marker lights on to prevent accidents, and having your headlights and fog lights on.

Seems to me just the marker lights would be suitable for that purpose.

If someone is driving the equivalent of a show truck and they are so afraid of someone hitting it that they have to illuminate the entire parking lot just to make their truck's presence known, then they need to park as far out of the way as possible.
