After all my research, I finally settled on Mercer because of what seems to be a family environment

His name is Vince, he's been in the Mercer yard a long time. Excellent vinyl graphics guy, very high quality work. Mine was 250.00 because I wanted custom large signs with gun metal silver and blue that really makes my orange color stand out. You won't be disappointed.

You will find we are a huge family here. While in Louisville people always get together and cook, go to dinner with one another, catch up on stories from the road. When you load/unload near another Mercer driver, I always offer and receive help from other drivers to fold up my tarps, wind up straps, un-hook tie downs, its just the way things are done here ,we help one another.
If you wind up coming to work here, welcome.

Looks good buddy. I want my co. name on my doors too so I might have to spend a little more (along with the leased to mercer and dot# on sleeper)

I just spoke with Gary at Mercer, he said on a average I would be out for 2 weeks. I live in the Northeast and was hoping to be home at least once a week. Can anyone tell me what their average is. I see that they don't nickle and dime you like Land Star did. It seams like a good company and I am extremely interested it's just the home time

Your going to get a million answers but let me try. If you came from LS then you understand booking your freight. The NE has loads that will keep you up there so you could get home weekly most the time I would think. As I'm sure you know the more time at home the less you will make but I met a mercer driver that stays NE runs in and out of NYC and is home almost every weekend with stop ins throughout the week. He does very well too it seems. Once the agents up there get to know you they will keep you running. Just have to build up that relationship.

    Highway Sailor Thanks this.
