It is 8 cents a mile extra for going to refrigerated with the same company?
-
.52 cpm which includes fuel bonus with Don Hummer Trucking.

It's been my experience that, in general, you'll sit more at shippers and receivers pulling a reefer than with a dry van. That is mainly why it pays more per mile. Will you make more money? Probably about the same unless they have really good detention pay.
(never drove for Swift though, ymmv) -

I only make .38 pulling reefer for swift. Been here over a year too. Who else besides our DM can we talk to about how much were supposed to be making?
I'd say do it for that big of a bump in pay. Otherwise no, not worth the headaches. -
Normal pay at Don Hummer is .40/m.
.10/m extra for ne miles.
