What's the corporate culture like? Is it run by lawyers or people who know trucking?
Do they manage every aspect or let you get the job done and leave you alone?
    What are trucks governed at?
How old do they trade them in at?

How's it going wavking, this is how day to day is as far as dealing with office employees goes. I get sent a load I send a accept macro they send load info to me and that's it. I do not communicate with the office unless there's something wrong with the load or hours etc. All dispatchers work out of the Iowa terminal you will not be running into them often if at all unless you happen to be at that terminal and be seeking to find them. The trucks are governed at 63-64 and I'm making a correction before I said 62-63 but it's 63-64 I say that because when I first got my truck it was at 63 then they turned each truck to 64 on there next PM. Truck turn out is at 450,000 miles, I hope I answer your question.

Used to have 2 loads that went to Long Island 5 years ago. No borough or Long Island loads currently. We have loads that pass through the GWB, but 90% of the time you can run them across the Tappan Zee.

They get you home better than most companies do. If you are going home every weekend, it's obviously not going to be at the same time every week. Some weeks it may be a full day later but that's trucking. Where they excel is when you REALLY need to be home on time for a flight or something. They don't short change home time and the average weekend is going to be 40+ hours, usually closer to 48.

No APU, and you can idle. Truck won't idle between 40-68 degrees. The newer Cascadias have opti idle, all the trucks have bunk heaters.
