And all the examiners get a referral fee......

 

It's in the 270s. I'm 6'3" and right at the limit. So, I have to lose 10 lbs. But, when I was in the oil field and lean from working in 85+ degree heat wearing FRs and in an old non AC Mack. I still weighed 245lb. The one size fits all mentality is idiotic.

 

I think it does not matter how smart you are or how much you study you can not pass a sleep test!

 

Wasn't there a directive a few months ago that if you needed maintenance not to do it at the drivers lounge parking lot?

 

Every couple days there is a topic on here, and I can say that is one of the reasons I sold my truck and trailer. BMI does not effect me, ELD would not have effected the way I ran. Even speed limiters would not have effected me.

In a few days, there will be another topic.It all gave me a bad attitude. having a bad attitude sucks, I like being happy!

You're so right, it all just seems to add up doesn't it. I'm done with it at the end of the year and I think about how fortunate I was to get into this at a different time and that I can leave it and let a new group deal with this new reality in trucking and the country.

 

Maybe there was but its habits, we been working on trucks 7n that lot for the five years I been here hard to change old habits. Just park and let it ride.

 

I don't care either way I just stopped for 15 minutes to grab a shower and bail outta here. There was just some controversy of a sleeping driver raising hell because the guy next to him was getting new trailer tires. I love controversy and found it pretty entertaining.
