Hello all well got my flatbed got my headache rack all equipment on..got to go to flatbed training wed...any suggestions for a new comer that never done flatbed

 

Yes , over secure it now. Make that your habit from the beginning. Then if you get lazy you'll just put the right amount of. Since youll be used to over kill .

 

They are 160 a set now at laredo

 

Did my first ever flat bed load today, crane parts, 127 miles for $546 bucks, over secured like crazy, took forever, took nothing to un-secure it and get unloaded though.

Was exciting!

 

Not bad. Wait til you get some of the 50 or 60 mile moves for 5 and 6 hundy and then pick up another load for next day.

 

Can't wait for those days!

Geez, I remember doing one in 2011, paid $1500 on 150 miles. Nothing pays what it used to.

 

Compared to what I was making at the old company for double the miles, I'm extremely happy.
