I might be going into a lease purchase program thru Quality and taking the truck to USA. I know how many people hate lease programs but I'm hoping to hear from people that made it work not just for USA but any company and how they did it. I guess im just looking for real advice and true positive experiences. Thanks in adadvance

The trucks through Quality are very expensive once you add up all the payments but there is no credit check and it is a walk away lease with no repercussions as long as the unit is in good shape. You'll have that weekly payment chasing you every week and that'll make it really hard to take time off. I know a few people doing it and they get miles but again, very little time off and when they do, they owe another weeks payment no matter what.

most the time it's always the people with bad experiences making comments on lease forums

At the rate USA is going to pay you, can't help but think it's going to be a bad experiencefreightwipper Thanks this.

I figured that in the best I could without ever going thru it but to be
Honest it's an ends to a means. I'm hoping only to do it long enough to make the money to put down on a truck from a place with lower payments and lease that onto USA if they work out. This way I get the lower payments each month -
$1.09 to $1.20 a mile plus there fuel discount. I won't get rich but it will get me the experience I'm trying to get plus maybe help get something better

Dizz, that's the going rate for most of the mileage based leases. Percentage based leases like Landstar and Schneider choice pay better potentially. You'll gonna hear lots of comments talking about the low rates and comparing them to owner ops with their own authority and paying all the bills. Lease ops aren't paying all the insurance or doing much of the paperwork or ifta stuff. It's not great but lots of people do it if you're motivated and have no other options. Just know you won't be getting long periods off for a good while

Plus that "horrible-terrible-ridiculous" rate is paid for all miles, loaded and empty. And also when your in crappy lanes like Florida.
