    This is a hi-way products (spelling??) Box they have stainless door option. I think it was 1-2 hundred option. Can't remember.

    Oooh - I like that trailer. I used to use those back in NZ, on a smaller scale. I don't see many here - possibly as versatile and easy as a connestoga, apart from the fixed roof ?

    Very versatile. Having that one built right now. 53'-102" high cube, lift front axle, disc brakes. Can load it like a flat or like a van. The fixed roof is not really a problem for what I use it for. Can't put crane loaded stuff on it. But I always get loaded by fork trucks either from the side or on a dock.

    Not sure I am following that statement.

    Lift axle on the front with a dump valve on the back? Is the lift axle on the front of the spread axles or on the tractor tamdems?

    Not seeing the value of both being on the trailer so I guess the lift would have to be on the tractor. Still got "spread axles" in my head so I am guessing I am just confusing what's actually being said.

    If so, then one could lift the front axles and dump the rear axle and basically be running down the road on three axles instead of five?

    Also, "tire scrub".... Does that mean when the tires are pivoting in place like during a back... Which is by nature more prominent in a spread axles configuration vs the closed tandem of a Dry/Reefer set up.

    That was going to be my only comment, unable to crane load. But I think it would be of greater benefit and it would outweigh the few crane loads. How much will it be with the soft sides and ready to roll?

    Have not gotten the final bill yet. Should be ready next week. Quote was 69***,**
    Its all aluminum with a bunch of options. If I would have got the base model it would have been about 10k less

    From a Dry/Reefer guy that seems like a lot of overhang behind the rear spread axle... Is that normal on flats and most of the weight would be in the center of the trailer ... But if that is the case, what good is that much overhang?

    Or am I just seeing something differently?

    That much over hang is because California and Canada. This trailer will be legal for kingpin to axle
