What name should I go for?
    Utility or Great dane?
    Carrier or Thermo King?

Refer. We wouldn't refer you to any reefer outfit.

Always liked the smell of a camel . . .

Consider dealership network, and operating hours.

    Consider warranty.

    What specs you require?

Depending on your situation, look into Jim Hawk Trailer sales, they have used reefers with new reefers on them so they are carb compliant at a reduced price. My choice would be wabash as both the utility and great dane trailers seem to have issues with the floor. Seen many with patches in floor and then you cannot haul loads of cheese or eggs as they claim there is bacteria trapped under the patch. One of the best options is the tire inflation systems, especially with wide based single tires. Aerodynamics also help, I like the smart truck system, but skirts and trailer tails pay for themselves too. Only thing I would change with trailer tail is I would have a small pin on a cable that locks the trip spring to hold the tail closed. One warehouse locally had a trailer tail open when backed in and it destroyed the dock door. This was at a dock where the trailers back in to the dock with the doors closed.
