Purchased the Garmin dash cam 35 around 6 or 7 weeks ago. No complaints until tonight. I happened to look up at it and the screen was white. I held the button to reset it, it cut off, never came back on. It seems completely dead.

Any suggestions or is it back in the box until I can find a Best Buy to return it to?

Contact garmin directly. If you have the receipt, it might be under warranty

I am betting it would be better to read the instructions first. But trying calling garmin. They are great people.

Take off the memory card. Than reconnect to the power source.

I have a Garmin 35 dash cam. Bought in June 2016 and it is not working... The screen goes white a few seconds after I turn it on and then it turns itself off... It's not the cable and it's not the memory card... Must be something inside of the camera.
I'm considering buying a Garmin 55 but can't find any info online anywhere about those lane departure thing and the forward collision warning... can those be turned off?
    Does anybody here know? Thanks...

A little OT but if you dont want to use the permanent adhesive included with the unit, you can use those 'Command' quick-release adhesive strips. They are darn strong

    The 35 is junk evidently.
    Why even consider another Garmin?

My 35 has worked great for a couple years. They have great support if you call 'em up. They answer the phone quickly

I called them yesterday and guy was very nice... told me to send them my camera and they will send me another (refurbished) one... even though my camera is not under warranty any more...
Garmin is not that bad... a friend of mine owns 2 Garmins, one is 20 and the other... I think is 45 and he never had any problem with them....

    Moon_beam and Balakov100 Thank this.
