Certifying e logs

I approve mine when the red message pops up that says "You need to review and approve your logs." About once a week.

 

Agreed check with company. You would sign to certify the logs daily on paper and legally be the same on elogs.

 

You are supposed to approve them at the end of each day. Electronic approval is the same as signing a paper log. It's supposed to be done daily--just like signing a paper log.

 

The question you have to ask yourself is "do I feel lucky", well, do ya punk?

 

But your not supposed to be able to cheat one Elogs. It's always those #### guys on paper cheating.

 

E logs leaves a time stamp of what you edited and when ... Sooner or later you will be called out for it on an audit.

 

I have. The officer only wanted to see the graph of the current day and previous day. Never asked if I had approved the logs or not.

I was inspected level one in cali a week ago and she didnt want to even see it. Most of my inspections over the years have been in cali and they either didnt want to see the E log or they just looked to make sure i wasnt over on my 11, 14, or 70.
