Crete Carrier - A Year In Review - Fall 2013 Going Forward

Last October or sometime, it backlogs to when you left the parking spot, and it won't let me log off duty in slow traffic.
On the way to the shipper I had a lot of stop lights and 25 mph towns, I picked up in Lewistown on 322 and road construction going up that STEEP hill had us moving about 5 mph the whole way.
They changed it to an all day drop on the 14th.

 

I used to need that "2 mile of continuous driving" Often times I would leave at 28 minutes and still get my 30 minute break in. They're such kill-joys!

 

Can't do that anymore either, I take at least 31 minutes.
But then running regional I'll reset every weekend at a truck stop and with my home time, it's like working a 5 day a week job.
I quit early today, I like this truck stop way better then the Pilot in Beaverdam, OH,

Walmart seems to be battering down the hatches. I've been monitoring a couple for driver positions and they haven't posted any openings gs in awhile.

 

I did so good on the sexist comments but today the 3 bears searching a car with 3 black males inside it, well the cops let the boys stand way up ahead of their car by themselves, and then Kunta who just got on and then jakes down hard for the big hill coming up, why?
And did anyone watch the new Roots on tv? I tried but it looked too fake

 

I did. I think they played every white in the whole 8 hrs to be a villain. Even the white children. Truly pathetic. The story would be fine without the overboard slant.

 

I can't believe it but I miss Jessica's random messages all day long.
Yesterday I put a paper clip in the AC vent so it doesn't blow on me, I slept like a dead horse, I don't think I woke up once,
AND if I get emptied after my 14 hours I'll let her log on Line 3 until I get parked in a truck stop.
( Crete will now let us log off duty driving with a trailer if we get empty after our 14 hours to go to a truck stop or home)

 

...so, your acting like you're in training to come to Magnum...except we have the 'skip' button on our Peoplenet instead of logging off.

 

Not me, I turn down a lot of shags that deliver at the end of my 14, now I gotta listen to the bs about how I can leave empty and log it off duty driving, ooh and the 10 hour break will start from when I send the empty call, not when I got parked.
I like elogs and the whole 10 hour break.
Im against mandated elogs because it'll mess up my parking if everyone has to shut down for 10 hours,
But it would be fun to see some of the super truckers on here being forced to log legal. No more naps for them
