You keep telling yourself that especially up where the fedex truck crossed the median and stuck the bus taking the high school kids to the colleges up north. A driver showed me his ticket for doing 58 recently. The days of 60 are long gone

I set it on 58 to 59 out there, 55 is too low on my rpms and I end up shifting a lot.

Lower speed limit in California also does other good things. It forces truck drivers to get better fuel economy which translates into fewer carbon emissions polluting the world.
So what they need to do is come up with a law that if you want to come to California your truck must be governed to 55, everywhere not just flip a switch when you cross into Cali. It would be like the DEF/DPF requirement now, must have it to enter the state. -

I'll just hire Perry Mason. Paul Drake will show up in the T-bird and get the dirt on the cop, and maybe even the judge.

Ok here goes. I always encourage everyone to go to court and plea not guilty. The worst that can happen is you pay the original fine. Now where you messed up is openly admitted speeding and how to beat it by reasonable doubt. Well you just flat out lied in some sort so there goes any reasonable doubt other members will hold. Why was you just not satisfied with having your day in court. Also who declares CHP the best?
