Just remember when you are hauling glass you must stay away from any ocean beaches. It makes all the other sand feel like underachievers.
That is my favorite joke.

I hauled glass there in late 14/ early 15. I live in E Tn, i hauled mainly from east of 35. texas to new england and into quebec several times. But never really got south of 20 either
I easily cleared $900-1000/ wk with family benefits taken out. And several weeks over $1200.
As the other driver stated during winter you may get back haul flatbed loads, ive done lumber and jlg lifts with them.
But when it comes to freight lanes, it'll depend on your time out, if you stay our 2 or 3 weeks, you'll probably not go west.
I was friends with another driver from my area and he stayed out 8 wks at a time, he ran loads that delivered anywhere from New Brunswick, to loads that went to Miami, and he was given the South Gate (L.A.) loads several times.
But with glass, the money is definitely there. I left maverick because i didnt know what to do with all the moneywhatamaroon and FLYMIKEXL Thank this. -
