no seriously they do. they quoted me and my comments about the crappy truck i was in. then they suggested to another driver that he not agree with me about the truck issue. Al knows everything his drivers do. but like i've said, still have friends there that love it. to each his own.

Guys and Gals,
I have said it once and I will probably say it many more times, there are good companies and bad companies. I have been impressed with this company for a long time.
All we want as drivers are nice equipment, to work with and for nice people who actually give a crap about their people, the miles needed to pay our bills and support our families.
Too many have come on here expecting a country club lifestyle and executive type job with all kinds of perks and that is not what this industry is about.
I believe as I always have and always will, that as long as you keep a good attitude, go to work and work hard no matter what and respect your employer and the people you work for as well as the motoring public, you will be fine.
Someone said National monitors social media and they should. This gives them an opportunity to derail someone talking crap and sending negatives about this company. I would do it too if I owned the company.
I am not a recruiter and have nothing against anyone who is. I just speak from a point of what I feel. I have had some challenges getting back into this industry and I did nothing wrong to warrant having difficulties. I left a company that was sub standard in everything they did. I left because my wife was very ill. I told safety I was going to leave and they did not believe me.
My DAC is clean and my background is solid. I have talked to several companies that want to hire me because I have a good CVSA record, am a very safe driver, have zero issues but they all seem to be making a big deal about my being off a truck for a year and a half. They mostly said, well something bad must have happened. Yes it did, my wife got sick.
I am looking at National as my new employer. Unfortunately at 0415 am, I cant do much until they open for the day.born&raisedintheusa Thanks this. -
