Be ###### if I would sleep in a truck with no heat. I would get a room instead.

What was interesting is I was able to build up my threshold resistance to the cold. It is my theory that our ancestors could handle the cold way better than we do today since today we have heat right at our fingertips.

I was watching the movie Revenant, gotta say i was very impressed with the reality of it. The way the characters walked around in the bitter cold as if it were no big deal, just the way it is.

I came up with this solution right here after watching a couple other youtubers do it

Why shut off truck in the cold. If I sleeping in a truck and it's cold enough it runs the little bit you save on fuel is not worth freezing your@$$ off

But that's common sense. And common sense is gone like a fart in the wind.

As you know it is not good for the planet to be idling your truck all night. I'm from California and we are trying to save the planet out here.

The cold won't hurt you. I would say it has been in the last century that we have developed better clothing and housing to keep the cold at bay. But if you think back 100-500 years and beyond, we as humans could take the cold and still thrive. I think what has happened is everyone has gone soft from too much creature comforts.

Ya but you Californians fail to think that not all weather is like yours. I live in northern Ontario and weather here is much colder than in LA

Yea a daytime high of -30 is cold enough just cranking up the heat turning it off then getting under the covers will never keep you warm enough. Good luck getting it to start the next morning too ....if you are still alive ..
