My name is Kenny Powers and I've been an OTR Company Driver for Dodge City Express, out of Dodge City, Kansas, since October 2011.

Everyone says their Company is the best, but to be honest after a few different Companies I've driven for, DCX is hands down the best!

We don't run the Northeast, which at the outset was a major plus for me living in Kentucky. I had had enough of running the Northeast, but living in Kentucky meant going there. . Our freight lane is the best I've ever had. We run the Northwest from Spring to Fall and seldom run Southwest. Midwest to Southeast is frequent and miles are good.

We have both dry van and reefers and we drop and hook at a few Cargill beef plants: Dodge City, Kansas, Friona, Texas, Fort Morgan, Colorado and Schuyler, Nebraska. We deliver beef outgoing and haul frozen or dry goods to get us back to Cargill.

I drive a 2016 Volvo and it is a very nice truck, I drove it off the lot brand new with 38 miles on it! We are getting 2017 KW T680's in now and they are very nice as well.

We have a fuel network and as long as you stay within the network you can fuel anywhere you want, no 20 gallons here or 60 gallons there nonsense.

Marty Keim, the owner, is a long time truck driver himself and very down to earth, remembers your name and shakes your hand.

Office and shop personnel are friendly and easy to get along with, I've never had any "run in" with anyone yet!

Here is the link to their website for more info: http://dodgecityexpress.com/

Here is a YouTube video from the owner, Marty Keim.

    God bless, Kenny Powers

72% of gross pulling their trailer is not a bad deal at all, they keep us moving. Got several trucks from Louisiana gonna lease on with us within the next week or so.
