Then don't worry about it.
Were you suppose to wait there till the scale opened again?
What if it closed for the day?
Are you supposed to wait on the shoulder so you could cross the scale the next day?
It is what it is but my bet is you probably won't here anything.
But let this be a learning experience to make sure your weight is right and your brakes are working properly.
Passed a scale.

OP guy seriously man. Just stop. You're just digging the hole deeper with every comment. It would be best for you to just come out and say you're joking about everything you've said up to this point and you made it all up just to get a rise out of people. I honestly believe that this has to be the case. I'm new and am dying with every excuse you've used. VolunteerTrucker is about to be UnemployedTrucker. Actually volunteer works because your money is going to go toward fines if this is true. And it wild then fit....
CrappieJunkie Thanks this. -
Oh. Lube for getting tandems unstuck.. Got it. The way this thread is going I thought the lube was for Bubba
-
Well then OP fit right in! I bet the whole fleet doesn't know how to adjust their brakesWaggledaddy Thanks this.
-
Shhhh you're thinking... that is not allowed!
-
You knew the brakes worked fine but in the original, now deleted post, you said you would have adjusted them if you knew how. That makes no sense, there would be no reason to adjust them if they 'worked fine'.
Learn how to properly check them. The 'truck stops fine' with a light load isn't an adequate way to check.
4000 lbs is a lot to transfer by sliding and there's a good chance you wouldn't get that load legal without reworking it.
You got lucky this time. If you want to take a chance again with being overweight on one end that's up to you but learn how to make sure the brakes are good.Waggledaddy Thanks this.
