Should we be sharing what we got a particular lane for ? Just a thought . I bidded on a shipment today , and the broker told me 825 $ on 325 miles , 2 stops , and only 45 miles in between the first stop . You know that I definitely said no to the 825 $ . I then later called a different broker , and got the lane for 1200 $ . I think we should oust cheap brokers like , landstar ,epes , tql . Just to name a few . Your thoughts .

As you know prices fluctuate. Maybe USA was under the gun to move that load and you happened to be in the right place at the right time?

Yeah , maybe so . I just think if we kinda had a way to share the rates , we will have a bench mark . I don't know . Maybe no one will settle for scraps , maybe a bare minimum would work , but I get it , everybody has their own number . We all can stand to learn from trail , and error .

Also it depends if your rate is base on a skateboard load or doorslammer

The first time you post a rate and a lane someone will come in and do it for $100 less.

Exactly. While i do talk about the rates i get, i never include the specific product or shipper. Or even the real city. If i load in gary, in going to ft lauderdale fl, I'll say something like chicago area to south Florida. Putting to much info or there is just a good way to lose good paying customers.
