Danny Herman gets me home for whenever! I put in time and they guarantee I'm home.. Never missed a home time... Freights great!

 

When things are slow...if you have avoided the dealer shop and you know that you must get something repaired, updated, or related with your truck....take that opportunity to go to them, grab a motel for a few days if you have to...lol...go to a dealer in a state / area that you prefer...I hate going to the dealer shop like mist any other driver, but hey if things slow down, it's not a bad option for daily breakdown pay to do nothing, and you get your truck up to snuff st same time...

 

Except for the biggest of dogs in the office, the rest of the turnover in the office at a mega is probably 70%. Hard to find statistics on that, just a guessetimate. Of course, if your the owner's daughter, third cousin, or love interest you'er in it for the long haul. Waiting for the day you can run the place. The rest of the staff can come and go, and most go.

That is compared to driver turnover that is always around 100% in truckload if not higher.

 

Yep, my dispatcher makes me come home every weekend. Not that they are having to use much force or anything lol. They just want me home for my reset lol

 

I worked 2 weeks for Design Transportation out of Dallas, 2 days for Transport America without missing a day or taking anytime off. Both of those companies thought I needed to take the rest of my life off.
