I do have a issue with securement. The lower tier of pipe or billet is not secured properly (At all...) I'll leave that alone.
Getting a two fer like that is outrageously unacceptable.
I look forward to the very intense loudly delivered one way conversation piled on this poor thing... who incurred the two preventable...
If this is the cost of breaking virgin drivers I don't want to see it.
The shoes to me is not acceptable around flatbed in particular. Those feet are going to get so torn up....
Ive always gone steel toe and when totally away from the truck at home it's a pair of boots either the western square toe or the Bellevue summer or winter vehicle boots with the antibacterial silver inside of them.LindaPV Thanks this. -
There is also damage to the outside tire if not also the wheel rim, because of that impact I have to consider and pull both duals off and check the bearings and hub to see if there is still any on that axle. Not to mention the airride, the trailer axle lifter gear (Toggle inside cab, drains air to lift rearmost spread to turn sharp on forward axle without tearing up tires...) and the braking gear. And that's just to start.

Jersey City uses Concrete filled container boxes. To form a defined rectangle or square large enough to park a few dozen trucks inside. These are stacked three high. So that you can put your trailer against them to cut down on those who cut a square into your walls and make off with whatever it inside on the other side of that wall.
Many have used posts such as you described. Usually it tears up the truck.
One in West Memphis got so sick and tired of trucks flying into the lot against the lawful flow of traffic, they gated that particular exfil route and put down a grate big enough to destroy all tires of a incoming 18 wheeler that wants to continue blasting into the property at 50 mph against 10 people wanting to get out. -
I do. Instantly. It comes with the flow in the little small grocery warehouses built before the days of semis and 5th wheels.
Hence a story... it was pouring rain in Milford CT upstate. There is a 76 world famously called American Eagle up there on the hill. One of my favorites. Always have been.
The paved lot was stuffed to overflowing so with some reluctance I engaged the interlock and muddied my way onto the new overflow area higher up on the hill above the paved lot.
I see a schinder trying to park in a area big enough for two it's night, pouring rain, he's tired beyond frusteration and temper temper.
I started working with him. 8 more drivers show up more than a few smiling. I wondered what was up. I find out in a minute.
Wherever mr Pumpkin's eyes landed on one of the 8 spotters, he was given a small contridictory command for his wheel. Not enough to be outrageously inaccuate mind you. He had swelled up with peacock ego from having 8 to 10 truckers helping HIM back. What has he done to deserve this? Life is good right?
After about a few minutes of contradictions leaving him working the wheel back and forth and pulling up and backing a foot a time.. he was worn out.
Then 2+2 for him mentally. Then he got angry.
We bought him a fine dinner. We had our fun. Maybe by now it's been 25 years and he can see where we all are coming from if he still on the road. -

I thought only big hooded trucks with the driver wearing a cowboy costume were allowed to park along the curbs,Longarm, LindaPV, Mudguppy and 1 other person Thank this.

Curb parking is only for those drivers who have already crushed 2 or more truck hoods while backing.
