Interesting observation today. When I arrived at the shipper and opened the doors, I took the opportunity to look closely at the inside around the frame. The pictures below show what I saw. Apparently the keypad device IS very much like the electronic locks on gun safes, but evidently it has been disabled.

Another victim of failure to read the thread in its entirety. Had you read or, even easier, clicked on the pictures in post #20, you would have seen and understood why your statement falls within the boundaries of being false.

There are some differences in the keypad, not to mention the additional box and likely magnetic system, so the patent mentioned isn't exact, but it's close enough.
