Yes they just watch triggered actions caused by critical events. Just cover it up with tape or something similar.
The company gets a lowered insurance rate for having those cameras. As long as they keep getting that good rate they dont care about the cameras or what happens to them. Just dont break or rip it out obviously.G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
With "quality information" like this, who needs enemies? Go ahead, put tape over it. You'll be written up, then second time, you'll be terminated. Only question is, will it take 2 weeks or 2 months for all this to transpire?

I wish we can favorite posts so we can bring it up the next time another in cab camera thread pops up. Shocking how some people on this forum truly believe it's for their protection or think manager can only watch when a critical event occursG13Tomcat, KMac, scottied67 and 1 other person Thank this.

If you have a company camera (forward and/or driver facing) and if you still don't believe what they can or can't do, flagrantly tail-gate and drive erratically and aggressively behind and/or alongside or in front of a Mercedes in Connecticut, then pass them so they can note the company name and maybe truck or trailer number, then count the hours/days it takes for you to get called in to "view the tape" and sign the warning notice or termination papers.

I just farted I wonder if the camera picks that up.
SHOJim Thanks this. -
Why didn't you post the other one?
"It has come to our attention that there is an unprecedented amount of @s5 scratching going on while attempting to maintain control of the vehicle. If you cannot wait until a stop or a rest area between scratchings, please try an anti-itch cream such as Cortizone 10, or, failing that, maybe Gold Bond Medicated Powder. @s5 scratching is a direct assault on the safety of you, the cargo and the motoring public and will no longer be tolerated as we take a ZERO STRIKE stance against it going forward. Thank you." -
That's too funny right there
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
The probe for that is still in development.G13Tomcat, SHOJim and Toomanybikes Thank this.
