Should I switch companies?

I catch myself doing that exact thing every day...fantasizing that is.

 

As a former Creten myself, let me chime in here. I left there almost 3 years ago after almost 10 years of enduring their ########. (I quit less than 2 months shy of getting a 3rd week of vacation).

1st, if you can survive on a lower paycheck, do it...tell them where to shove their truck, their screwed up 'asset manager' system, their forced fueling, their sleep apnea screening, their micromanagement in the orifice of their choice. Yes, they pay well. But the reason they pay that much is because they are one of the most anal retentive, self centered bunch of micromanaging idiots I have worked for in 21 years behind the wheel. And their higher pay is so they can keep butts in the seat to endure their antics. So if you aren't there for the paycheck, burn those bridges and move on for the sake of your sanity.

If you can't do without a pay cut, then bite your tongue and the bullet and hang in there until something pops up that you can afford to live on.
