Get you a kitty for the trk .....picked up a long hair at the animal shelter a few years back and was concerned about the kitty shedding hair, the lady says Naw this one here ONLY sheds twice a year, Ok great get in trk kitty. I call the lady back a few months later to say the kitty sheds a lot and she said it only sheds hair twice a year. This is true she said what I meant about twice a year was ..1ST HALF OF YEAR AND THAN THE 2ND HALF OF YEAR.

There is no cure for it, merely ways to forget about it for a while. Leaving the house is still hard for me a decade later. I watch a lot of Netflix, play video games and I go to school online. Between all of that I don't think about home too much. But I have my bad days, like most drivers I bet.

I would be the same way if I had to stay out over 5 days at a time. I got a wife at home and a 5 year old that means the world to me. I will not stay away from them over a week. I'm looking at local jobs now, but a lot of the jobs want a year experience. I've only been driving 10 months so I'm close. It's crazy to me that all these new guys come into the industry thinking they have to stay out months at a time to make good money. Idk if it's YouTube truckers that are making them think this or what. But after talking to most of them I make more in a week than they do and I go home. I found a company that has a local terminal about 20 miles from my house. They run LTL loads and all of them originate at the terminal. So that gets me back to get another load. I'm usually home 1 night during the week as well for my 10. Just do some research you can find something better if you want to be at home.

    Ontguy Thanks this.
