Yes I did too but the temptation of a free room and a few cold ones was just too much.We will break that bread very soon.
They do have a poker room here. Poker isn't my strong game, I have way too many tells. Plus I am not good at figuring if my hand is decent.
In other news I discovered they have a huge cineplex here and I am a movie freak. Just got back from War Dogs, which wasn't too bad I guess but my review would be that it was the #1 best movie experience in my life. Well except that one time with my girlfriend, oh and that other time with that other girlfriend..... but no, this place you buy the seat you want to sit in on the level you want to sit in, they have 3 floors so I picked top floor exact middle seat. Seat has a button, you push button and a server comes and asks what you want. I got a cooked to order cheeseburger and fries with the works and bud lights brought to me at regular intervals. Plus, being a Tuesday evening I had the whole theatre to myself.LindaPV, Dave_in_AZ and tucker Thank this. -
It's official. Recreational marijuana will be on the Arizona ballet this November. Now when you go to the J the pump will say " Lift handle to smoke reefer ".
LindaPV Thanks this. -
Good. It's the only way to stop the illegal smuggling.
You smoke reefer every day, don't you?Dave_in_AZ and 6daysontheroad Thank this. -
He smokes, you mean he fuels reefer every day.
A little off topic since it didn't happen at Flying J in Phoenix.
A few days ago I stopped at Petro in Gustine California. After browsing around for something to eat I spotted 2 of the plumpest, juiciest, golden brown corndogs I have ever seen. I quickly grabbed them up and proceeded to walk around the store to buy some acoutrements to go with them. That was when I noticed a big ugly, bald headed security guard following me. I believe he was an enforcer hired by the anti-corndog coalition. I quickly took evasive action and noticed he started paralleling me as I walked up and down the aisles. Finally I panicked and set those beautiful corndogs on a shelf by the logbooks and sprinted out the door. After getting to the safety of my truck I immediately put my tin foil hat on and was feeling much better within minutes.Bakerman, Dave_in_AZ and LindaPV Thank this. -
California unfortunately, has a corndog prohibition...those were obviously left out so they can get to you and your kind.
Don't let the terrorists win!Dave_in_AZ and 6daysontheroad Thank this. -
I rarely get out there, but just north of there beside the Loves is Andersen's Pea Soup restaurant, I always try to spend the night there, plus this is their pea soup
