FBI background check????

Nothing to worry about. If you had a felony that was 5 years old you could get hired. What you got aint ####.

 

Your Juvie Record is sealed by a JUDGE, the FBI would need to get a subpoena to unseal it. They can't just walk in and say give us your records. Yes they are FEDERAL but they have laws to follow.

The only thing they are looking for is to make sure your not a national security threat to be honest. Juvenile records should not hinder this at all.

 

You don't tell companies anything unless it's public record.
FBI background check for TWIC/HAZMAT is only checking for certain types of felonies like gun charges, murder, terrorism, etc.
I had about 2 or 3 felonies and a bunch of misdemeanors and I qualified for TWIC card. I go on Military base in my home town and they do background check to get on base.

Sealed means just that, it is sealed and requires a court order to open it. A potential employer will not be able to even see the conviction exists much less open the file. No worries on your part.

 

Ummm, you're talking about a juvenile record. You could kill 40 people as a juvenile and as long as they don't convict you as an adult, you are good to go. That's they way the game goes.
