This is also with a new bumper almost 800(Chrome). They could bend it back in place but we will see how things go. He has a used hood in stock which is Great! Got to wait until tuesday to find out...

 

Wow! I've hit 2 deer this year and each time it was $11000.00+ and 2 months downtime.
Even though Mercer's insurance waves the deductible on animal strikes the downtime has killed my revenue for the year. Most heavy duty body shops have a waiting list of at least a month.

 

Man a guy could buy a new bumper, hood headlights and grille and change it himself cheaper than sitting 2 months.

 

Pete let the dealer give you an estimate of all new parts than by used if you want put the extra in your pocket

 

If i go new hood im looking at around 1 month of down time while they order that hood

 

The insurance company doesnt need to know that.

 

As of now they arnt using insurance. We will find out first thing Tuesday. The claim guy that im dealing with wasn't in today so it has to wait until tuesday If it goes to Insurance ill have them quote me for a new hood and just bend my bumper back in place

 

Get a quote for everything new and submit it to them. Then buy what you want and keep the balance. I don't know about bending the bumper back. I bent mine one time and was able to pull it back but it rusted at the crease were I bent it.

 

I've heard a bunch of bad stuff about them. I hope they are doing you good.
