Some companies don't allow vlogs of their drivers in their truck. I think swift has a policy? And I think maverick does too...not 100% u can just say that, company policy on video logs77fib77 Thanks this.

So, I don't know what the right thing is to say...I'm honest...I don't want to lie but at the same time I really want to get hired.

You dont have to lie. Just dont answer a question that wasn't asked.

Well, not true, I've had a gaming channel, comedy, etc etc, and I've had video's with 60k + views, having good content is one thing but getting views is still a very very hard thing to do.
-
I was terminated.
Why?
Breaking company social media policy.
What did you do?
I made videos that included the company name, my location at the time of the video, and my opinions on the situation. That will never happen again.Toomanybikes Thanks this. -
Most companies these days have a very extensive social media policy. Best bet is to avoid any and all mention of the company you are with and any shots of the truck with their name/logos/etc in them.
It's why I blur out every single picture I post here or elsewhere on the internet. No truck number, no VIN, no company logo, no license plate. Without those things, they can't prove it's me. Even if it's the only truck in the fleet with a single hood mirror. They have nothing to go on in terms of disciplinary action according to the policy they handed me.
Well, other than keeping copies of the images I take. But they can't gain access to my hard drive or phone without my permission. And they are fairly lax about it anyways. We are required to take pictures of the truck or load in case of finding damage during an inspection or another insurance related claim.Toomanybikes and street beater Thank this.
