You get 100% of it. But it is included in the rate. On many loads (government) it will state that it can change. You can't expect extras here. If the load states $2 a mile you will get that.
The FSC is broken out in every settlement but whatever load you go after you know what your getting paid. -
You've gotten it on every load. Jesus do you even read your settlements?
I'd like to say what i think right now about people and their minimum effort output and maximum output of whine.roshea Thanks this. -
Be careful, we don't want to lose you also.

Finally finished the whole thread. Sad about skate, calm down down Spyder don't want to lose you too. More questions coming soon.

I don't really read mine. Not really anyway, I basically look at the gross amount, make sure it matches (everything else is irrelevant to me on how it breaks down) and look at the amount being deposited. If those two numbers look right, I ignore the rest usually. If something seems off then I'll actually read the whole thing and make a phone call if I have to.
mi38 Thanks this. -
Lol you are as bad as me. Except I basically just look at what's going into my reserve. Sometimes I look at what's being deposited but that usually doesn't matter anymore. I did pay a lot more attention when I first started here. But now all I care about is my new truck fund. LolOrange713 Thanks this.

What type, if any, software are you guys using for tracking your finances? MyGauges, Fogline, Quickbooks, spreadsheets, etc. ?
-
How do you guys not read every line of your settlement. Do you not know that there is information on there that you must have to make a P/L statement or to figure your income tax.
You need this information every month to know if your making money. You cant just go by the money in your checking account. If you don't keep on top of a true P/L every month, You very well may be the guy that has a tax bill of $15,000 come April 15 and has no idea why or no idea how to pay it.
As an owner operator I suggest you keep track of every penny on a spread sheet, that means reading every line of your settlement and accounting for every penny that comes and goes that is related to the truck. Keep track of those days away from home and convert that to a dollar amount put that on the spreed sheet.
Know where you and your truck stand, it's related to your check book, but it's not the same thing!!!
You new owner operators will not be long in this owner operator world if you do not master this concept.roshea, A21CAV, spyder7723 and 3 others Thank this.
