Sounds like pretty standard Schneider OTR set up from what I've seen. Be glad your not in Phoenix, then it would be 100, no APU, and you could stay in the dirt at their terminal.
In 11 years, no matter what the weather situation, I have yet to use, or my co driver or a student use, my truck as a toilet. So don't let anyone BS you that urinating in your truck is acceptable behavior. Schneider is a mega training company that ####s on our entire industry, do your time, then you can get a real job.

 

Good luck. I've ridden with scumbags, it's a living hell, do your time and move on. Schneider isn't going to do anything to that guy, he makes them money and money is their God. Just do your time and move on, when your finished, you could suggest to him in a nice way he may want to change his hygiene life style, it won't do any good, but at least you'll have your say.

 

You did the right thing.

 

Believe me contrary to what some people are telling you Schneider will not tolerate that kind of garbage and you did the right thing by bringing it to their attention whether or not you're in his truck for a short time or a long time is irrelevant you shouldn't be in somebody's truck in those kind of conditions.

 

Does that truck still have a working motor? ...lol

 

I am pretty sure that urinating in the truck in front of a student could get that guy fired. And honestly, if he is really doing it, I am all for it. Unlike some posters here I don't have extreme views on whether or not peeing in a bottle is that disgusting, perhaps if you keep the bottle open and/or can't aim… Sometimes you got to do what you got to do, but doing it in front of someone else, a student? that's just not acceptable. I really want to know what happens, keep us updated! And good on you for speaking up.
