I've done a lot of long deadheads lately too. Rapid City to Bismarck...then Orem UT to Wilder ID (20 mi west of Caldwell)
-
Yeah we tend to do that out west, went from Seattle to Caldwell recently too, really helps with the mpg
-
But to balance it out, the load in between had a 0 deadhead. Grand Forks to Grand Forks.
-
Yeah, most long deadheads are out west, sometimes in the east but it's rarer. At least you got a decent run that helps put some scheckels in your pocket as you prepare to leave.
-
I had you fill of out west. They got me out there then up and down I5 till it was time for home. The getting out there was fun. The getting back even better
tucker Thanks this. -
I delivered my 318 mile load a day late and then they had me drop the empty trailer at The Phoenix yard and bobtail to Denver and grab an empty trailer at that yard.
But I don't have chains so I couldn't go across 70, it ain't much longer to run 40 to 25.
And I'd of stayed out an extra week or two if they would quit with the shag nonsense. -
Where you at @tucker? I need to wine and dine someone.
-
But....but.....but...
-
I tried Ssb. You were in Arkansas and I just left there.
