One piece of advice for those that need to get a CAT scale and then do reweighs, you will save a bunch of time if you download the CAT scale app. Link it with a debit card or credit card. Then you get immediate weight results on your phone. No need to walk into the truck stop and wait in line for folks to figure out what kind of dipping sauce they want for the day old chicken. You can simply park and adjust your tandems or fifth wheel and get back on the scale. Once you have legal weights THEN you can walk in to get your paper scale ticket and receipt.

Thanks for sharing that, my company pays for scaling at approved locations which are basically all Flying J, Pilots, and a few Loves n TA/Petros. But yes I seen the ad from CAT at the scale or near inside the bldg. But hey driver when I do pay cash or use my CC at non approved locations that may work for at those times. Their good with reimbursements, it's like always on my next check. I use my own CC similar to what your saying for my own CA toll transponder (Fastrak) and my FL toll Sunpass. I get the receipt emailed to me and scan it, and in my next check. Can you get a receipt if I do that for the non approved CAT locations I go to? As long as I have a receipt with truck and the trailer I'm hooked to I will get reimbursed, yeah that would save me time at places like that. I couldn't do that at the approved locations, as they have to swipe the Company Com data card and enter the run of the mill info.

Once your weights are legal you can go in and get your final weight ticket and receipt for first weigh and all reweighs. That satisfies any reimbursements for your expense report. The time savings is the real benefit.

Air sliders reset the pins when you push in the red knob, they also use the spring brakes to hold to slide the axles, if the spring brakes are weak, they won't always hold.
